How does it work?

Then click the [Start] button.
Then you will get the MD5 checksum of the files.
What is MD5 used for?

One of the most common uses is to make sure that a file  
that you have downloaded is not corrupt.  
Some websites post the MD5 checksum of a file on their  
download page.  
You can use it to get the MD5 checksum of the downloaded  
the file on your computer.
Then make sure whether the two checksums are identical.
